Music - An Art Form that can Augment humanity

Image
Being a musician myself, I can say that music is not just an art form. Its more than that. It is considered as the most effective way of communication. You couldn't memorize a line or paragraph but you could remember the words of hundreds of songs. Why is that? Its as if you are being pulled into a different dimension, a reality where you could explore and understand yourself better. Music plays with your emotion and connects with you like no other means of communication. We teach Rhymes to small kids instead of skipping straight to paragraph writing or something like that. Its because Music has the power to penetrate deep into your mind and plant an idea or words (Like Inception, I know right?!).   It enraptures you and immediately puts you in some kind of emotional trance. Music plays an very important role in shaping our physical and mental health. Its widely being ignored or under rated as a means of therapy. It affects your brain in ways that you don...

Since Maya is proprietary software, I just used the free trial and then abandoned it after the trial ended. Blender has almost the same features as Maya or any other 3D modelling software as far as I know. For those of you who don't know what an open source software is, its a free software where we can create and modify the source code, fix bugs and contribute something of value to that software. Linux is a well-known example for open source software. So why it is important to use open source software? I'll tell you why. The First and foremost reason is Security. Now, I'm not saying open source software is more secure than the closed software. But it can be checked and verified by the user before using. Since the source code is open to the public, anyone can view and edit the source code and fix any bugs. While bugs in proprietary software take weeks o...
